IHEART MEDIA – A school psychologist in Florida was arrested on charges of possessing child pornography.
The Miami-Dade Police Department said that a tip was sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that somebody had uploaded child pornography to social media on May 25.
The pair of videos were distributed to over 50 users. An investigation revealed that the videos were posted by 62-year-old Robert Lee Turner.
When officers went to his home on Monday (August 12), he barricaded himself inside his bathroom and refused to come out.
Eventually, officers broke down the door and took Turner into custody.

He was charged with five counts of possession of sexual performance by a child material, two counts of promoting sexual performance by a child, and one count of resisting arrest without violence

MIAMI-DADE POLICE DEPARTMENT ( August 12, 2024 )– The Miami-Dade Police Department’s (MDPD) Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC), with the assistance of the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, has arrested a Miami-Dade County Public Schools Psychologist for possessing and distributing child pornography.
According to investigators, a cybertip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in regards to a subject uploading child sexual abuse material to an internet platform. An investigation by the ICAC unit was immediately initiated and a search warrant for the subjects account was granted.
The search revealed that he promoted/distributed 2 videos of child sexual abuse material to over 50 users.

A search warrant of the subjects residence was conducted by the MDPD’s Special Response Team where Dr. Robert Lee Turner was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
The investigation continues.
